If you ask us, any study of finances that doesn't talk about giving back is sadly lacking.
We are not talking about simply writing a check. While this is one form of giving and even a good place to start, it can be rather boring and detached. Not to mention the fact that when you are first starting to get a handle on your finances, you may not have a lot of extra cash to give.
Giving back is so much more! It can be done with extra items around the house, a little time volunteering, or even just listening to a friend.
As with each week of the study, we want you to do more than just learn about giving. We want you to take a practical step toward becoming a giving person.
Why? Because we believe everyone has something to contribute. You … yes, you were created for some unique purpose.
As a group DO something bold with what you learn this week. Find that thing no one else is capable or positioned to do and, as the U.S. Army said so well, "be all that you can be."
Listen to this Bible story from a long time ago about a man that rocked this idea of giving back. It could have just as easily run on last night's news.
